I think this needs to be put back in. if your bleeding out and have the strength to call for help, I think you can pull the trigger. maybe not aim, but fire surely. I also think you need to be able to finish people off again.

I think an extra equipment slot might be unneeded, but perhaps a couple of grenade slots that you switch grenades like equipment, so you can cary like, av and flux, or locus and remote, or locus and.. You get the idea.
